Web download — no install required
The RoyalPand web lobby runs in any modern browser. Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox are all supported; the lobby uses HTML5 and does not require plugins. The seven-day session cookie holds the login across browser restarts. Web is the fastest path to a first table.
Android APK — sideload from the official site
Google Play does not host real-money gaming apps in India. RoyalPand follows the standard sideload pattern. The APK is signed by the operator and the SHA-256 fingerprint is published in the footer of the official download page.
Allow install from unknown sources for the browser you use.
Download the APK from the official RoyalPand site.
Compare the SHA-256 fingerprint of the downloaded file with the published value.
Open the APK and confirm the install prompt.
iOS — App Store search
The RoyalPand iOS app is available on the Indian App Store. Search "RoyalPand" by exact name; do not install apps with a similar name or icon. The first launch requests camera (KYC selfie), notifications (table alerts) and Face ID (biometric unlock) permission.
Verifying the APK
RoyalPand publishes the SHA-256 fingerprint of every release in the footer of the official download page. On Android, open the file manager, long-press the APK and tap "properties" to see the SHA-256. On desktop, run sha256sum royalpand.apk on Linux or macOS, or use 7-Zip on Windows. Mismatched fingerprints should not be installed.
System requirements
RoyalPand runs on Android 8 and above, iOS 14 and above, and any desktop browser from the last three years. A 4G connection is sufficient for table play; Wi-Fi is recommended for stable deposits. The app is lightweight — under 50 MB on Android, under 80 MB on iOS.
What if the download fails?
The most common cause is a CDN cache miss on the official site. Refreshing the page once or twice usually resolves it. If the APK still fails to install, confirm that the device storage has at least 200 MB free; old devices sometimes hit a low-storage threshold that prevents APK install. If both fail, switch to the web lobby — it carries the same account and the same games.
Network requirements and bandwidth
The RoyalPand lobby and app both run on a 4G connection or above. Web play uses HTML5 and consumes roughly 50 KB per minute of table time; app play uses slightly more (roughly 80 KB per minute) because of the additional mobile-only tournament features. Wi-Fi is recommended for stable deposits and withdrawals, particularly on networks with variable 4G coverage.
The lobby and app do not stream audio or video; the only network traffic is the hand state and chat messages. Users on metered connections will not see significant data usage during play. The most data-intensive action is the initial app download — 50 MB on Android, 80 MB on iOS — and subsequent updates.
Storing the APK safely
After downloading the RoyalPand APK, store the file in a folder you control — typically the device's Downloads folder or a dedicated "Apps" folder. Do not share the APK with other users; the file is signed by the operator and the signature is unique to the download session. If the file is shared, the second device will install with the same signature but the original device's KYC will not transfer — KYC is per-account, not per-device.
The APK file should be deleted after installation to free storage. The installed app lives in the system app drawer; the source APK is no longer needed unless the user wants to share the file or compare the SHA-256 fingerprint against a future release.
Troubleshooting failed downloads (entry 2)
Chrome on Android handles APK downloads natively. Firefox prompts the user to allow the download and then installs through the system package installer. Samsung Internet Browser handles APK downloads the same way Chrome does. Microsoft Edge on Android follows the Chrome behaviour. Safari on iOS does not allow direct APK download — iOS users must use the App Store instead.
If the browser reports "Download failed" or "File too large", the cause is usually a transient network issue or a content-filter blocking the download. Refresh the page once or twice; if the issue persists, switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi or vice versa. The download is typically under 50 MB, well within mobile-network limits.
