Terms of use

Scope of the editorial content, the disclaimer on real-money play and the limit of our liability.

Editorial content only

This site publishes editorial content — rules primers, format primers, platform reviews, KYC explainers, news register entries and responsible-play guidance. The content is written for adult readers who want to understand rummy on RoyalPand. The content is not financial advice, gambling advice or legal advice.

Real-money play disclaimer

Rummy is classified as a game of skill in most jurisdictions that regulate it, but real-money play carries financial risk. The site's editorial content does not guarantee outcomes. Players who choose to stake money on rummy should set a deposit limit before their first deposit and a session cap before their first long session.

RoyalPand is a separate platform

The RoyalPand lobby, KYC flow, cashier and support channels are operated by RoyalPand, not by this editorial site. RoyalPand's terms of service and privacy notice apply once you reach the lobby. The editorial site has no access to your RoyalPand account, KYC documents or wallet.

Accuracy

The editorial desk takes reasonable care to ensure the published content is accurate at the time of writing. The site is updated quarterly and ad-hoc when material changes are announced. If you find an inaccuracy, write to [email protected].

Limitation of liability

The editorial site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The editorial desk is not liable for any loss arising from use of the editorial content, from reliance on the editorial content, or from a third party's actions. The limitation does not affect any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the editorial site's registered office location.

User conduct

Readers who use the editorial site agree to use it for lawful purposes only. Prohibited uses include: attempting to gain unauthorised access to the site or its servers, scraping content for commercial reuse without permission, posting unlawful content through the contact form or any other channel, and interfering with other readers' use of the site.

The editorial desk reserves the right to block readers who engage in prohibited uses. The desk may also report prohibited uses to the relevant authorities where the conduct is unlawful. The desk does not monitor reader activity beyond the standard server logs.

Disclaimer of warranties

The editorial site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The editorial desk does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components. The desk does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any editorial content beyond the published editorial standards.

The desk takes reasonable care to ensure the editorial content is accurate at the time of writing. The site is updated quarterly and ad-hoc when material changes are announced. Readers who find an inaccuracy can write to [email protected].

Indemnification

Readers who use the editorial site agree to indemnify the editorial desk against any claims arising from the reader's use of the site. The indemnification covers claims by third parties, claims related to the reader's violation of these terms, and claims related to the reader's violation of any applicable law.

The indemnification does not apply to claims arising from the editorial desk's own negligence or wilful misconduct. The indemnification is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Third-party links

The editorial site contains links to third-party sites — for example, the RoyalPand lobby, the MCA portal, the National Problem Gambling Helpline and others. The desk is not responsible for the content of these third-party sites; the desk does not endorse the content; the desk does not warrant the accuracy of the content. Readers who follow a third-party link do so at their own risk.

The desk selects third-party links carefully. The desk links only to sites that are relevant to the editorial content; the desk does not link to sites for commercial purposes; the desk does not link to sites that violate the desk's editorial standards. Readers who find a third-party link that is broken or that points to inappropriate content can write to [email protected].

Force majeure

The editorial desk is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms where the failure is caused by events beyond the desk's reasonable control. Force majeure events include natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, internet failures, hosting failures and similar events.

In the event of a force majeure event, the desk will use reasonable efforts to minimise the impact on the editorial site. The desk will publish updates on the news register if the event affects the publication materially. The desk does not guarantee continuous availability of the editorial site.

Entire agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between the reader and the editorial desk with respect to the use of the editorial site. These terms supersede any prior agreements, communications or representations, whether oral or written, between the reader and the editorial desk with respect to the use of the editorial site.

Any modification to these terms must be in writing and published on the editorial site. The desk will announce material modifications in the news register. Continued use of the editorial site after a material modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Assignment

The editorial desk may assign these terms to a third party — for example, in the event of a sale of the publication or a merger. Readers will be notified of any assignment via the news register; the new assignee will be bound by these terms. Readers who do not accept the assignment may stop using the editorial site.

The editorial desk does not assign these terms in a way that materially affects the reader's rights without notice. Material changes — for example, a change of data controller — are announced in the news register and accompanied by an updated privacy notice.

Waiver

The editorial desk's failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not waive the desk's right to enforce the provision later. The desk's waiver of any breach is not a waiver of any subsequent breach. The desk's enforcement of these terms is at the desk's discretion; the desk is not obligated to enforce these terms against every reader.

Readers who believe the editorial desk has not enforced these terms in a particular case can write to [email protected]. The desk will review the complaint and respond within seven working days. The desk's response is final; readers who are not satisfied can escalate to the relevant authority.

Notices

Notices to the editorial desk should be sent to [email protected]. Notices to the reader may be sent to the email address the reader provided when writing to the desk; if no email was provided, notices may be published on the editorial site. Notices are effective on the date they are sent or published.

Material notices — for example, a change to these terms or a material change to data practices — are announced in the news register. The news register is the authoritative source for material changes; readers who want to be notified of material changes should subscribe to the editorial site's RSS feed.

How these terms are updated

These terms are reviewed annually and ad-hoc when the editorial desk's practices change. The current version is dated 03 August 2026. Material changes are announced in the news register; minor changes are appended to the terms with a dated note. The full version history is available in the corrections log.

Readers who want to be notified of changes to these terms can subscribe to the editorial site's RSS feed. The feed URL is published in the llms.txt file. The desk does not send email notifications of changes; the feed is the authoritative source.

These terms are written in plain English. The desk has avoided legal jargon where possible; the desk has avoided cross-references where possible. The terms are intended to be readable by the editorial site's audience — adult readers who want a working understanding of rummy on RoyalPand. Readers who find a term unclear can write to [email protected] for clarification.
